Awards Host – Zoe Salmon
Zoe Salmon is the Northern Irish born TV Presenter who originally trained as a lawyer before being offered the opportunity to pursue a career in television as one of the presenters of Blue Peter, the longest running children's television show in the world. She honed her live presenting skills on the show and is one of the few presenting talents working in the UK today who can effortlessly present live television.
Zoe left Blue Peter in 2008 and competed on ITV1's Dancing On Ice which pulled in over 10 million viewers every week. Since 2009 Zoe has been one of the friends on Angela & Friends, the live daytime show for Sky1. Zoe hosted The World's Strongest Man competition for Bravo and presented a new series Skilicious for ITV. Other television appearances on primetime shows include Shooting Stars, BBC1's Sport Relief, Test the Nation, Your Country Needs You and The Weakest Link. Zoe has also hosted major events at Hyde Park, The O2, Royal Albert Hall and The Barbican in front of live audiences of thousands. Her recent presenting projects include ITV1's This Morning and GMTV.
Zoe plays a TV presenter in Russell Brand's new movie, the Judd Apatow directed, Get Him to the Greek. She is an accomplished speaker and recently held her own masterclass on presenting for the BBC.
After-dinner Speaker – Quentin Letts
Quentin began his journalistic career in 1987 and contributes to a number of British newspapers from the News of The World to the Horse & Hound. For a time in the nineties he was New York correspondent for The Times and he is currently the theatre critic and political sketchwriter for the Daily Mail.
He regularly appears on television programmes such as This Week, Newsnight, Question Time and Have I Got News For You. He recently presented an episode of the BBC current affairs programme Panorama which dealt with the growing criticism of the influence of health and safety on various aspects of British life.
In his book Bog-Standard Britain he attacks what he sees as Britain's culture of mediocrity, where political correctness has, in his words ‘crushed the individualism from our nation of once indignant eccentrics’. His bestselling book 50 People Who Buggered Up Britain is dedicated to his wife ‘who puts up with me shouting at the television’.
Quentin is renowned for his sharp wit and entertaining rants and is a firm favourite for corporate events.
Live Band – Hula Groove
Hula Groove are one of the most experienced and highly recommended function bands in the UK. The members of Hula Groove are comprised of some of the UK's leading session musicians and vocalists.
Their nine-piece band consists of drums, guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, percussion and four female singers. Each of the singers shares the role of lead vocals providing you with a unique and varied evening of entertainment.
They play a wide range of music and are guaranteed to have you on the dance floor continuing the celebrations late into the night.
